I am a Postdoctoral Researcher and Teaching Associate at the University of Trier in Germany. I am a Global Labor Organization (GLO) Fellow and a GLO Virtual Young Scholar in the 2023-24 cohort.
I completed my PhD in Economics with distinction (summa cum laude) at the University of Trier in November 2024. In my doctoral thesis, I investigated the consequences of performance pay on workers' health, well-being, and labor market success.
My research interests include labor, behavioral, education, and personnel economics, with special interests in performance pay, employee well-being, personality traits, educational mismatch, work from home, interpersonal trust, and psychological detachment from work. My work has been published in Economica, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Industrial Relations, ILR Review, Kyklos, Review of Economics of the Household, Education Economics, and Journal of Happiness Studies.
